Dear Friends of the Tulip Festival:
It has been an honor for us to serve on the Orange City Tulip Festival Steering Committee for the past five years. Through our involvement, we are continually in awe of the many individuals in our community who quietly contribute their time and talents in order to make our festival happen each year.
After another successful festival year, we are again reminded of the heritage of volunteerism and participation that is alive in our community. It is a gift to gather and celebrate our cherished heritage and the vibrant community we live in today.
At this time, the festival steering committee is already hard at work planning for our 2025 Tulip Festival scheduled for May 15-17, 2025. We kindly ask for your continued support of the Friends of the Festival Foundation to help us fund some new endeavors. The focus of our fundraising efforts for this year includes:
- Expanding the announcer coverage of our parade route. We are continually seeking to enhance the experience of our guests. To provide a more comprehensive parade experience, we are exploring additional speaker infrastructure and a corresponding announcer stand along the start of the parade route — Arizona Ave, where our accessible parking is located. This will provide beginning-to-end parade commentary, regardless of your viewing location along the route. Additionally, we are exploring the potential of a radio broadcast to a local frequency that could be tuned into by those watching from their vehicles.
- Multi-year project of sending volunteers from our costume committee to the Netherlands for a scouting trip. We last sent this volunteer group to investigate costume design and materials in 2009. We hope to explore new options and enhance old contacts that will allow us to create beautiful, authentic costumes.

Public ticket sales begin on January 13, 2025.
