Hobbies & Interests: Some of my hobbies and interests include, going for walks, reading, running, playing music, and spending time with my family and friends!

Spare Time Activities: Throughout high school, I have been involved in cross country, band, jazz band, choir, and orchestra. I’ve especially loved getting to be a drum major for the Pride of the Dutchmen marching band! I have also been involved in our school musical and both Large Group and Individual Speech. Additionally, I am involved in student council and the Talented and Gifted program.

Spare Time Activities: In my spare time, you can find me at Kweken with friends and working at Crafts Central. I also attend Youth Group at Trinity and I teach Sunday School there, as well.

Education/Career Plans: Next year I plan to attend a four-year Christian College to study Spanish and play in the band.

Past Tulip Festival Participation: I have been involved in the Tulip Festival for as long as I can remember! When I was younger, I would scrub streets with my family and ride on the floats during the parade. I have always participated in Dutch Dancing, from Dutch Games to Senior Dutch Dance. Throughout high school, I have been a member of the Dutch Dozen, marched with the Pride of the Dutchmen marching band, and I have been a part of the productions of Footloose and the Wizard of Oz. Tulip Festival is hands-down my favorite holiday!
