Hobbies & Interests: Spending time with family and friends is important to me. I enjoy doing puzzles, playing card games, especially Dutch Blitz, and playing piano

and violin. I also enjoy playing soccer and being part of a team.

School Activities:  I have been involved in orchestra and soccer at Unity. I have also been a liiving group leader for the past two years. I have enjoyed attending many sporting events and being a part of the student section.

Spare Time Activities: In my spare time I enjoy reading, going for runs/walks, playing games, shopping, and hanging out with friends.

Education/Career Plans: Currently, I plan to attend the University of South Dakota to major in Dental Hygiene and minor in Spanish.

Past Tulip Festival Participation: As a child, I enjoyed walking in the Mode show with my parents and siblings in our Hindeloopen costumes. After the Mode show, I would go to scrub streets with my family, including cousins, aunts, uncles, and grandparents. Often, my younger sister and I would ride on the Queen’s float with my mom. When I reached 2nd grade, I began participating in Dutch games and later Dutch dancing. In 5th-8th grade, I participated in the Orange City Christian marching band.
