The30^th Annual Tulip Festival Road Race and Tulip Walk

RETURNING THIS YEAR ALL SPORT CENTRAL WILL HANDLE ONLINE REGISTRATION AND EVENT TIMING! 
Place: WINDMILL PARK – downtown Orange City.  Check-in, packet pickup are at the Shelter House.
The race starts on Arizona Ave. at the NW corner of the park. 
Events:     Men’s 5K     Women’s 5K   Men’s 10K   Women’s 10K One mile and 5K Tulip Walks (no age divisions)
Age Divisions:  1) 17 & under  2) 18 – 25     3) 26 – 35    4) 36 – 45      5) 46 – 55    6) 56 - 65    7)  66-75  8) 76+                  
Entry Fee:              Before April 1 - $18    April 1 thru April 30 - $25        May 1 thru race day $30

$40 cash prize is awarded to the overall winner of the men’s and women’s 5K and 10K races.                             
$20 cash prize to the overall 2^nd place finisher of the men’s and women’s 5K and 10K races.
A commemorative item will be awarded to 1^st place finisher in each race and age division.  
2^nd and 3^rd place finishers in each division receive race certificates. 

NEW! A commemorative item and special recognition certificate will be given to the team

with the most participants.

Course:                 
The course begins and ends at picturesque Windmill Park (bring your cameras), winds through residential neighborhoods on hard surface roads and is flat with a few gradual inclines. Race routes are point-to-point loop courses and measure 5K (3.1 miles); 10K (6.2 miles) runners complete two laps. The course is officially certified. (USATF #IA-08004MP) 

Misc.:        PRE-REGISTERED participants receive a race bag (2010/30th anniversary T-shirt guaranteed if registered by April 30. After April 30 a shirt without date may be substituted). Showers available at Vet's Park on Michigan Ave. Water, juice and fruit provided for participants following the race.

Family Discount:  Family of 2 - $30; Family of 3 - $40; Family of 4 - $50. Family discount is available prior to May 1 only. (Family members are defined as parents and their children or siblings under 18). Registration must be completed for each member.
