Kiwanis Club announces 2010 Tulip Festival Road Race Logo Design Contest
Orange City, IA -- Students, artists and members of the community are
invited to submit a graphic design for the 2010 Tulip Festival Road Race,
sponsored by the MOCHA Kiwanis Club. The winning design will be used for
website, advertising and promotional purposes on items such as posters,
flyers, bags and the official participant T-shirts. There will be a $50
award of Orange City Bonus Bucks to the designer whose submission is
chosen. The chosen design and the artist will be recognized in the local
paper.
Criteria:
• Logo must be submitted in a digital format (JPEG, eps, Illustrator or
Photoshop file)
• The design must include the following: Wording – "2010 Tulip Festival Road
Race, Orange City, Iowa"; the Kiwanis Logo (can be found at kiwanis.org);
and artwork must include representation of the Tulip Festival and of a race
or a runner(s)
• The Kiwanis Club and Road Race committee reserve the right to use all or
any of the design
• All designs should be submitted in a one or two color option. You may also
include the same design in multiple colors
The Kiwanis Club encourages designs that are catchy and fun, as race
participants enjoy collecting event shirts and memorabilia. However, the
artwork also should help to reinforce Orange City's Tulip Festival "spirit."

The MOCHA Kiwanis Club reserves the right to alter or change the designs
that are submitted, as required for promotional items.
