Musical Night Show
On Wednesday, May 12, the Tulip Festival Night Show opens with “Bye, Bye Birdie.” This amusing musical is the story of 50’s rock and roll singer Conrad Birdie, who is drafted into the Army – much to the distress of teenage girls all over the U.S. His agent, Albert, and secretary, Rosie, concoct a plan to search for a typical teen to receive a kiss – 'One Last Kiss' – from Conrad, as his farewell to girls everywhere. Enjoy an evening of musical entertainment. Performances are nightly at 8 p.m. Tickets are available at the Windmill Information Booth or call (712) 707-4510.
Ecuador Manta
Cultures merge together as the Tulip Festival welcomes Ecuador Manta. This
Andean band originates from a small village called Atahualpa in Ecuador,
South America. Enjoy their unique blend of styles as they entertain through
their music on the Sioux County Courthouse lawn from 10 a.m. to 12 noon and
4 to 6 p.m.
