Spring will soon arrive, and our Tulip Festival is only three months away.  We are excited to celebrate our 71^st annual festival.  Our celebration relies on the many wonderful volunteers in our community.  One of our biggest assets is our financial supporters.  We are writing to ask for your monetary support for the Festival through the Friends of the Festival Foundation.

WE HAVE A CHALLENGE FOR YOU!  Each year the Friends of the Festival Foundation is able to provide for the “extras” that the budget will not allow, such as:  pedicabs, new floats, a new sound system, website, new chairs and stage curtains for the town hall, new announcer booths, Straatmarkt store, etc.

This year we are asking for your help to finance a restoration for the Dutch Street Organ.  If you have visited the organ the past couple of years, you are aware that it is in dire need of repair.  This will be the last year that we will be able to use the organ—hopefully, it will work!  We know this is going to be a huge investment but it is a valuable instrument.  So we are proposing a “matching campaign” for the Dutch Street Organ.

Pizza Ranch, Revival Animal Health, Vogel Paint Corporation,  Blue Mountain Culinary Emporium, Northwestern State Bank, Iowa State Bank, and Community Bank are willing to challenge area residents and businesses and will  “match” all gifts for the restoration.  That means your gift will double in value!!!!  Can we count on you to accomplish this important project?
