TULIP TOWN BULB COMPANY OF ORANGE CITY LAUNCHES BUSINESS
Orange City, Iowa - Tulip Town Bulb Company of Orange City, Iowa announces the launch of a new business, a new logo, and a new web site. The Vander Wel Tulip Gardens of Orange City has been sold to Brett and Nora Mulder. They have named the new company Vander Wel – Tulip Town Bulb Company. The new location is at 116 1st Street S.W. in Orange City. 3,100 tulips of 26 varieties have been planted at the Mulder residence for display purposes. When these flowers begin to bloom in April, the company will take tulip bulb orders for fall delivery. Don and Mary Lou Vander Wel will continue to work for the Tulip Town Bulb Company for the next few years of transition to educate Brett and Nora on the details of growing great tulips. The adjacent property where the Northwestern College Playhouse once stood was purchased by the Mulders and will eventually be the location of future tulip display gardens. You are invited to visit the gardens when the flowers begin to bloom and during the Tulip Festival in May.
