New Volunteers Welcome to Arrange Tulips for Festival /bigger>/bigger>
/bigger>/bigger>/fontfamily>
The tulips are beginning to bloom all over Orange City so it’s time to sign on
as a floral designer for the Tulip Festival Flower Show. Many volunteers are
needed – and amateurs are welcome – to help arrange tulips and other flowers in
unique containers for exhibit at the Sioux County Historical Society Museum.
This is a relaxing way to meet new people and create beautiful displays for
visitors. To see a few of last year’s creations, go to

Tools and containers for flowers will be provided, but those wishing to bring
their own containers may do so. Volunteers should meet at The Flower Cart on
Tuesday May 15, beginning at noon, working until all the arrangements are
completed and stored in the cooler. At 3:00 pm on Wednesday the 16th, volunteers
are needed to transport flowers and arrange displays at the Historical Society’s
Museum. On Monday May 21, after Festival, volunteers are needed at the Museum to
help with cleanup and removal of flowers.
For additional details call Todd & Kris McDonald (707-9241) or Catrina Schauff,
Owner of the Flower Cart (737-4902 home) or (441-0480 cell) or email Catrina
with your questions at
